At Worrall Law, we believe that the practice of law should be about obtaining a fair and just result for our clients. We believe that many problems can be solved quickly, and at far less cost, if the parties involved are willing to work to find an equitable result without resorting to litigation. We actively encourage our clients to consider alternatives to the court system when resolving their disputes. We believe it is our role to serve as both your advisor, and your advocate, and we will do our best to ensure that you achieve the best possible result under the law.

Client Philosophy

Every potential new client will be treated with courtesy and respect. Of course we do not know if we can help anyone with their legal issues until we have heard the basic elements of their case. Your first consultation will be free of charge, and we will not ask for any sort of payment unless and until we believe that we can help you achieve your goal. We do not believe in pressuring anyone to retain our services, or to litigate their cases.

Once you retain our services, we would like to be "your attorney for life." We would like to always help you with any and all of your legal needs, no matter how large or small. If at some point you require legal advice for an issue beyond the scope of our competency, we will refer you to outside counsel who we believe to be well-suited to handle your case.

Some cases or issues may be very easy, and can be resolved with little cost in a very short time-frame. Other issues may require complex negotiations or lengthy litigation, and can last months or even years. Regardless of the unique situation you may be facing, it is our job to inform you of what we believe the possible outcomes, costs, and timelines may be. You need to be able to make informed choices before committing to a course of action.

Billing Philosophy

You will not be charged for your initial consultation.  If we believe we can help you, and if you are comfortable with our representation, we will discuss appropriate compensation and enter into an Attorney-Client Agreement.  The nature of your case will help us mutually determine what is the most appropriate form of compensation: an hourly fee, a flat-rate charge, or a contingency basis.

We do not believe in surprising our clients. One of the biggest fears in hiring an attorney is how much your legal fees will be. Sadly, some people let this prevent them from getting legal assistance they desperately need. We will cover our billing practices with you before you sign any contract, so you can feel comfortable that you know what your representation will cost. Rest assured we believe that you will find our billing practices very progressive, very fair, and we believe you will feel that you are getting your money's worth.
